If you are looking to upgrade from your cheap, shaky, Walmart adjustable bench to a solid, heavy duty adjustable bench that is able to handle significant weight, but you are cost conscious this comparison is for you. Because we’re looking at the lowest price adjustable bench options these will not include decline (click on this link to look at our Flat Incline Decline Bench comparison).
Brand | Model | Price | Flat Height | Weight Rating |
---|---|---|---|---|
REP | AB-3100 | $189 | 17.5″ | 1,000 pounds |
Rogue | Adjustable Bench 2.0 | $545 | 17.5″ | Not stated but very heavy duty |
Titan | Incline Bench – V2 | $124.99 (includes shipping) | 17.75″ | 650 pounds |
These 3 benches represent the lowest price offering from REP, Rogue and Titan but are still at vastly difference price points. Titan comes in the cheapest at only $124.99 including shipping (typically an additional cost ranging from $40-60 for a bench depending on package size, weight and distance). The immediate differences you see in the Titan offering are: a lower gauge steel construction resulting in the lowest weight rating, a front bar rather than single post and pop-pin adjustment instead of the faster step ladder locking system. Other differences between these benches are likely the quality of back pad. Truthfully the differences between the REP and Rogue benches appear mainly aesthetic with differences in the front handle used for moving the bench and back pad shape. At a price difference of $356 dollars between the Rogue and REP incline benches, it is very difficult to recommend the Rogue bench unless money isn’t an option and you simply want the most heavy duty bench possible and prefer the Rogue name and aesthetic.
